Often, you see a word or letter combinations on coupon pages that just look like foreign language to you, or you have a question and you just can't come up with the answer.  This is a short and growing list that will help you piece it all together.  Don't forget to send in additional questions to be featured on this page.

Blinkies - In-store coupons from the little machines on the side of the aisles

BOGO/B1G1 - Buy one, get one free

Catalina - coupon printed from a special machine at the register after a purchase

Competitor Coupon-A store coupon from one store that is used at a competing store.

Double Coupon - Coupon that the store doubles in value - (ex: $.50 doubles to $1.00)

ECBs - Extra Care Bucks (CVS money- prints at end of receipt)

GM - General Mills Newspaper Insert

IP - Internet Printable coupons

MFR or MQ - Manufacturer’s Coupon

MIR - Mail In Rebate

OOP - Out of Pocket

P&G - Proctor & Gamble Newspaper Insert

Peelie - A coupon attached to a product that you can use immediately (Ex: coupons you find ontop of the pillsbury rolls :))

RP - Red Plum Newspaper Insert

RR - Register Rewards (Walgreens money - prints from coupon machine at register)

SCR-Single Check Rebate (monthly rebate program from Rite Aid)

SS-Smart Source Newspaper Insert

Stack - using multiple coupons for one items. (Ex: stack a MQ and a Store Q to bring your oop cost down) 

Store Coupon or SQ - a coupon published by a specific store to be used at that store.

Tear Pad - a pad of coupons that can be found at local stores.

+UP - Up Reward (Rite Aid money - prints at the bottom of your receipt)

WYB - When You Buy
