2/17 Rite Aid Shopping Game

I was feeling a little adventurous tonight and decided to head out and grab a few freebies at Rite Aid.  I had a few +UPs from my last shopping trip and wanted to use them before they expired.  Turns out they expired on 2/12/11.  HUGE Bummer but I was determined to make this work.  I cut out my coupons and made my way to the nearest Rite Aid.  I ended up hitting 2 Rite Aid stores as the first one did not have a lot of the things on my list but the second one had even less.  Bright side was I found a Rite Aid that was uber coupon friendly...manager and staff!.  It's a bit of a longer drive but it's worth it for great customer service!  Anyways, here are a couple of the things they had that I got.

Trans 1:
2 Colgate Total Toothpaste - $3.50 ($7.00)

2 - $1/1 Colgate Manu Q (I was told I coul not use this because it says Walgreens on it but you can try your luck)

Paid $2.01 + tax (Got back 2 - $3.50 +UPs)

Trans 2:
2 GE CFL lightbulbs, 1pk - $2.99 ($5.98)
= $5.98

Paid $.48 + tax (Got back 2 - $2 +UPs)

Trans 3:
2 Ziploc Storage Containers, 4pk - 2/$5 ($5.00)
= $5.00

$3.50 +UP from Trans 1
Paid - tax (got back $2 +UP)

Total = $2.49 for $17.98 worth of drugstore merchandise with $6 +UP remaining! 

A savings of 77%!!
