1/29 Rite Aid & Walgreens Shopping

It's been a rough week(end) to say the least.  My niece's birthday was on Friday so the family met up at our favorite pizza spot (Gondolier) to have dinner.  After dinner, the little ones decided to race on the sidewalk to see who was faster.  My sister in law and I decided that since we both ran track, it would be fun to see if we still had game.  The word "GO" was the last thing I heard before I found myself flailing in mid air as my feet left the ground and my palms and knees braced my fall.  That will teach me to try and race with slippery boots on.  Needless to say my ankles, my back and everything in between is screaming "Are you crazy" right now.  Moving On...

I had some +UPs and Register Rewards (RRs) that expired today and wanted to run out and grab a few deals.  Despite my aching bones, I decided to take my two oldest on this adventure.  I'm not sure that was the best idea but at least it got them out of the house and gave T some twin time and me some stretching time.  I ended up forgetting some coupons at home and had to adjust transactions but a good trip all in all.     I went to Rite Aid first:

For a total oop of $2.45 with $5.97 +UP left over

Then I hit Walgreens.  I had to adjust the transactions because I forgot some coupons at home and since I went to a 24 hr store, next weeks sales (even though the tags were up) was not live until 12:30am:

Final = $9.01 spent for $98.43 worth of drug store merchandise..a 91% savings!
